A $50 CASH reward is paid to students who provide information leading to an arrest.
Students with information may talk with their school's Police Liaison Officer. The information will be kept confidential.
Students may also submit tips using the Crime Stoppers web tip line or by calling 1-877-325-STOP (7867), although these tips will not be part of the Quick 50 program but are still eligible for reward if requirements are fulfilled.

Crime Stoppers is a crime prevention program geared toward public involvement in the fight against crime. It provides an avenue which permits and encourages citizens to contribute to the safety of their community.
To participate in Wood County Crime Stoppers just phone, text or submit your tip on a crime or a possible crime by utlizing one of the three methods listed above. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that your tip will be received anonymously so you do not have to identify yourself, all you have to is report the information that you have.
Crime Stoppers is based on the principal that "someone other than the criminal has information that can solve a crime." Crime Stoppers was created to combat the three major problems faced by law enforcement in generating that information:
Fear of REPRISAL
An Attitude of APATHY
Reluctance to get INVOLVED
Crime Stoppers resolves these problems by:
- Offering ANONYMITY to people whom provides information about crimes.
- Paying REWARDS when the information leads to arrest.
