The Quick 50 Program is offered to area schools by The Wood County Crime Stoppers. We are currently sponsoring programs at area High Schools.
Students with information may talk with their school's Police Liaison Officer. While they will not remain anonymous, the information is kept confidential. The Police Liaison Officers can pay a $50.00 reward for information that leads to an arrest for the removal of weapons, drugs, alcohol from school property or for any other illegal behavior.
The purpose of Quick 50 is to make our schools safer by encouraging the reporting of weapons, drugs, or alcohol which are on the school premises or fro reporting any other illegal activity that occurs on school grounds. $50 is paid for information resulting in the arrest and confiscation of a weapon, illegal drug, or alcohol or an arrest for any other illegal behavior.
